Huguenot Pediatrics Physicians

Our physicians are board certified through the American Board of Pediatrics and are actively involved in teaching VCU-MCV medical students and pediatric residents in our office.

Martha K. Saunders, M.D.

Dr. Saunders attended the University of Richmond and holds a Bachelor of Science and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical college of Virginia and a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina. She completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the Polyclinic Medical Center in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Additional post-graduate training includes a Fellowship in Ambulatory Pediatric Care at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Saunders was an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Department of General Pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia prior to becoming a founder of Huguenot Pediatrics in 1990.

Judith P. Grossberg, M.D.

Judith P. Grossberg, M.D.

Dr. Grossberg holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia. She completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia. Additional post-graduate training includes a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children and the study of Environmental Psychology at Cornell University. She joined Huguenot Pediatrics in 1993. Dr. Grossberg’s area of special interest is the evaluation and treatment of children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Elizabeth M. Cullen, M.D.

Dr. Cullen holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia where she was Vice President of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Additional post-graduate training includes a summer Substance Abuse Research Fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Cullen joined Huguenot Pediatrics in 1997.

Indra A. Kancitis

Indra A. Kancitis, M.D.

Dr. Kancitis holds a Bachelor of Science from The College of William and Mary, a Doctor of Medicine from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a Master’s in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed a Residency in Pediatrics at the University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, where she also served as Chief Resident of Ambulatory Pediatrics. Dr. Kancitis comes to Huguenot Pediatrics after nearly 10 years of experience serving on the faculty of Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, Children’s Medical Center.

Amanda K. Miller, C.P.N.P.

Ms. Miller holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia where she graduated Magna Cum Laude and a Master of Science in Maternal Child Nursing from the Medical College of Virginia. Prior to nursing school Ms. Miller was employed as a research assistant in the medical fields of Endocrinology, Cancer and Immunology, and Gastroenterology. She has worked with Dr. Nofsinger at Midlothian Pediatrics as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner since 1997 joining Huguenot Pediatrics with Dr. Nofsinger in 2000. She is certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Pamela K. Summers

Pamela K. Summers, Clinical Research Coordinator

Ms. Summers holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a SOCRA Certified Clinical Research Professional and has over 15 years of experience in clinical research working at Virginia Commonwealth University, McGuire VA Hospital, Massey Cancer Center, Virginia Cancer Institute and PRA International. She joined Huguenot Pediatrics in 2008.
